Makalu Base Camp is the one of the peace trekking zone; it is between Mt. Everest and mount Kanchanjunga. The Makalu Barun National Park is one which is famous for mountain activities. Makalu Base Camp trekking starts fly from Kathmandu to Tumlingtar airport jeep drive throw Khadbari bazaar, Chichila to Num along with Arun river and cross river with Barun Valley, rivers, jungle, crossing several pass like cross many high pass such as (Keke-La Pass-4230 m, Tutu La Pass 4200m) climbing throw cliff, trekkers can enjoy with view of beautiful lake and more Himalayas over 8000 m such as Mount Makalu, Mount Everest and mount Lotse and Ease side mount Knchanjangha, as well as Mera peak, Baruntse Himal and many peaks. Makalu Base Camp Trek takes you to up to 5200 m, this trip take you at  Makalu Barun National Park and conservation Area. Mount Makalu-8463m is the fifth highest peak in the world. This trip is a true adventure with scenery so beautiful that it will never tire you. The trek starts with a flight to Tumlingtar and heads up to Arun River Vally to sedua and crossing Shipton La Pass and Upper Barun river valley for a close look at Makalu and Chamlang Himal. This is one of the most remote and unfrequented area of Nepal.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival, meet airport and transfer to Hotel and evening trip briefing with guide.

Day 2 : Morning prepares and checking trekking gear and personal items for trip and Half day guided sightseeing.

Day 3 : Fly to Tumlingtar and Drive to Khadbai, Chichila and Num-1200m, O/N at tea-house, 4 hrs walk.

Day 4 : Trek to Sedua-1540m, O/N at tea-house 6 hrs walk.

Day 5 : Trek to Tashigaon-2070m, O/N at tea-house 6 hrs walk.

Day 6 : Trek to Khongam-3560, O/N at tea-house 6 hrs walk.

Day 7 : Rest day acclimatization explore around

Day 8 : Trek to Debotay-3650m, O/N at tea-house 5 hrs walk.

Day 9 : Trek to Debotay-3650m, O/N at tea-house 5 hrs walk.

Day 10 : Trek to Yangle Kharka-4200m, O/N at tea-house 6 hrs walk.

Day 11 : Acclimatization day excursion to Langmale Kharka-4450m.

Day 12 : Trek to Makalu Base Camp- 5000m, O/N at tea-house, 5 hrs walk.

Day 13 : Excursion around Makalu Base Camp, O/N at tea-house

Day 14 : Trek to Yangle Kharka-3600m, O/N at tea-house

Day 15 : Trek to Dobotay O/N at tea-house

Day 16 : Trek to Tashigaon-2070m, O/N at tea-house

Day 17 : Trek to Num-1500m, O/N at tea-house

Day 18 : Drive to Tumlingtar, O/N at tea-house

Day 19 : Fly back to Kathmandu and free day.

Day 20 : Final departure and transfer to Airport.
