The deepest Himalayans Lake Shey-phokshundo with beautiful turquoise blue water, watching the yak caravans that maintain the traditional salt trade with Tibet. The Dolpo region lies further north from Dhaulagiri Mountain rage in the rain shadow of the Himalayas. The trekking path will pass through Shey-Phoksundo National Park with scenic mountain scenery, ancient Buddhist monastery and yak caravans. The treks throw huge forest area, and then load through rocky canyons in the barren plateau near border with Tibet. After Arriva in Kathmandu, make monument/Durbar Square and culture tours while obtain special permit for lower Dolpa Trekking. Then flight to Nepalgunj, Jhupal. This trek gives you experience the high altitude walking, rocks and different climate of Lower Dolpo and Shey-Phoksudo Lake and Kanjiroba glaciers.
Day 1 : Arrive in Kathmandu airport and transfer your Hotel.
Day 2 : Kathmandu valley sightseeing and Check trekking gears.
Day 3 : Fly from Kathmandu to Nepalgunj then transfer to Hotel.
Day 4 : Fly from Nepalgunj to Jhupal (Dolpo) and trek to Dunai 3 hrs walk.
Day 5 : Trek to Tarakot 2,543 m 5/6 hrs walk.
Day 6 : Trek to Laini 3,160 m, 6/7 hrs walk.
Day 7 : Trek to Nawarpani 3,545 m, 5 hrs walk
Day 8 : Trek to Do Tarap 4,090 m, 7/8 hrs walk
Day 9 : Rest Day at Do Tarap for acclimatization.
Day 10 : Trek to Numa La Base Camp 4440 m, 6/7 hrs walk.
Day 11 : Cross Numa La 5,190 m, and camp at Pelung Tang 4465 m 6/7 hrs.
Day 12 : Cross Baga La 5,070 m, and camp Dajok Tang 4,080 m, 6 hrs.
Day 13 : Trek to Ringmo 3,600 m, 3/4 hrs walk.
Day 14 : Rest Day at Ringmo and excursion to Phoksundo Lake.
Day 15 : Trek to Shyanta 2520 m, 5/6 hrs walk.
Day 16 : Trek to Jhupal 3/4 hrs walk.
Day 17 : Fly to Kathmandu via Nepalgunj.
