Everest base camp trek begins with the scenic mountain flight to Lukla, which is elevation 2860 meters. On the first of trekking the foot trail fallows Dudh Kosi River with splendid of forest of rhododendron, different kind of pine forest, Buddhist prayers flags, prayers wheels and different Sherpa village. Second day with crossing little bridge and hiking to up to Namche Bazaar, this is junction for travelers. It is also called mini Thamel with spectacular view of mountain and shopping and a day rest place before going upwards. It has two museum, several Internet cafe, Pizza House, German Bakery and Shopping center too.

From here everyone trek along a high traverse path and reach at Tyangboche Monastery 3900 meter height approximately. The major places are Tyangobche, Pangboche, Dingboche, Lobuche and Gorakhashep. From Gorakhasep trekkers make excursion to Everest Base Camp (5360 meter) and Kala Pattar (5545 meter). Mother snowy mountains can closer view on this trekking such as Mount Everest, Mount Lotse, Mount Cho Oyu, Mount Nuptse, Tamserku, Poomari, Lobuche Peak, Island Peak and beautiful Aama Dablam as well as incredible Khumbu Ice-fall then back to Lukla airport following the same previous route. The views are much better autumn and spring as well as all over year.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival Kathmandu, transfer to your Hotel and arrangement for trekking equipment and prepare for next day.

Day 2 : Kathmandu (1450m) flight to Lukla (2860m) and trek to Phakding (2610) 4hours walk.

Day 3 : Trek to Namche Bazzar (3440m) 7 hours walk.

Day 4 : Rest day- excursion to Khumjung (3970m) Everest View Hotel and back to hotel 5 hours walk.

Day 5 : Trek to Tengboche (3900 m) 6 hours walk.

Day 6 : Trek to Dingboche (4430m) 6 hours walk.

Day 7 : Rest day- Excursion to Chukhung valley (4730m) 5 hours walk.

Day 8 : Trek to Lobuche (3940m) 6 hours walk.

Day 9 : Trek to Gorakshep (5180 m) 3 hours walk and excursion to Everest Base Camp (5364 m) 5/6 hours walk. (Up and down)

Day 10 : Early Morning excursion to Kala Patthar (5544 m) 4 hours (Up and down) and Trek decent to Pheriche (4371 m) 5 hours walk down.

Day 11 : Trek to Namche bazar, 7 hours walk.

Day 12 : Trek down to Lukla 7 hours walk.

Day 13 : Morning flight to Kathmandu, free time for shopping afternoon and local market area.

Day 14 : Morning after breakfast Full day sightseeing and evening transfer to airport for final departure.
