Chisapani Nagarkot Hiking starts from Sundarijal, Chisapani and Nagarkot. A couple of hours uphill walking through Shivapuri National Park leads to Chisapani via Mul Kharka. Chisapani is the point from where spectacular panoramic Himalayan view can catch on memory. Chisapani present closer view of Jugal, Ganesh Himal with Langtang region with clear and crisp landscape. Following dense forest, villages, terraces and again oak rhododendron forest from Sundarijal, the hike offers beauty of Nepalese village with terrace full of seasonal crops like mustard and wheat. This trek is not a “very easy” and soft trek on a level trail but can be termed moderate in difficulty due to couple of hours of uphill walk on the first day. But anyone with moderate fitness can do it and it is really worth the effort. Sundarijal Chisapani hiking is best and renowned among hikers. It’s the hike route near Kathmandu valley which presents spectacular Himalayan panorama with traditional culture lifestyle as well as flora and fauna. North-east from central Kathmandu it starts from Sundarijal needs half an hour car drive. Purport of Sundarijal is gorgeous for water resources, and it’s the main source of drinking water for Kathmandu Valley. Also, have years old electricity production division.

Outline Itinerary

Day 1 : Kathmandu to Chisopani 6 hrs
Morning Drive to Sundarijal then start walking to Check post, mulkharka and Shivapuri Jungle and cross the hill then down to Chisopani.

Day 2 : Chisopani to Nagarkot 6 hrs.
Morning after breakfast start walk throw jungle, it is very beautiful place with small pond, Jhule check point is the first settlement after Chisopani, then Jarsingpauwa,Kartike bhanjang and Nagrkot. Overnight stay at hotel.

Day 3 : Early morning Himalaya view and sunrise view then after breakfast drive to Kathmandu Via Changunarayan Temple and Bhaktapur Durbar Square Sightseeing.
